We are often asked how students and families know about the services we provide. Although some of our students come to us because of referrals and via word-of-mouth, most of our students and their families come to College Access Partnership from our nonprofit partners including the El Caballero Foundation, Families Forward, the Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs, LA Team Mentoring, Learning Works, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Women in Entertainment and the Young Executive Fellowship.
We are also developing relationships with El Super Markets/Bodega Latina Corporation and Raleigh Enterprises – companies that wish to offer workshops to their employees and their dependents about the college admissions process and funding a post-secondary education.
Our dedicated volunteers are also our partners. They are advisors, mentors and translators; they are an invaluable part of College Access Partnership.
We are gratified to report that because of our partnerships, we anticipate serving 500 students/families by the end of the 2019-2020 school year through our workshops and our one-on-one and small group college counseling, tutoring and test prep programs.
It is truly a team effort!
