College Access Partnership Scholarship Fund
Funding a college education is often the most difficult obstacle to overcome on the path to college readiness. And, while our clients have so far had tremendous success obtaining financial aid and scholarships, there is often a gap between the money awarded and the actual cost of attendance: Hidden expenses, such as those for travel, books, and healthcare are not covered by financial aid.
We advise our students to avoid student debt whenever possible, and so it is with great excitement that we announce our new scholarship program.
Thanks to the generosity and vision of a few trailblazing donors, we have established a scholarship fund that will be allocated to a select few deserving students who need a bit of financial help to fully pay for their college experience. Our gifts will be in the form of a four-year financial commitment, will range from $1000 to $2500 per year, and will require that recipients reapply each year to establish their continued need.
Requirements
Current College Access Partnership students who plan to attend a post secondary school (college, university, community college and vocational schools included) and can demonstrate financial need are invited to apply.
Supporting Documentation
In addition to completing an application and essay, students will be asked to provide their financial aid award letter(s) (if applicable) and either their FAFSA or California Dream Act reports.
How to Apply
Our online application is open from April 1st to May 31st.
